The Douglas offers a unique accommodation in rural setting bordering the ocean and the Douglas Apsley National Park and only 10 minutes from Bicheno. This area is a walkers paradise. There are short or long beach walks, and for the keen bush walker there are many walks, including a two day walk in the Douglas Apsley National Park. These spacious, comfortable, affordable, family Cottages are fully self contained and all linen is provided. Car parking is available, but not under cover. Pets are welcome, if kept under control. In season fresh vegetables and fruit available from the Vegie Shop. Gorgeous sheltered camping sites are available behind the ocean dunes with fresh water taps amongst the native shrubbery. |
